What's On At Congenial

The Write Fantastic
The literary side of the programme is being run by The Write Fantastic writers group, mostly in the persons of Kari Sperring and Juliet McKenna. The Write Fantastic have a reputation for putting on truly excellent events and enthusing people about reading and writing, and we look forward to seeing what they have in store for us. Fittingly for us, as well as being published authors, Kari and Juliet are also keen roleplayers (indeed, Kari is currently reffing for half of the committee!).
Bring Your Own Games
As usual there will be space on the walkway and in various small rooms for games, and boards for sign-up sheets near the main rooms. Everyone is invited to bring games along and use all that space, but the convention won't be organising any form of tournament play. Congenial is a convention about roleplaying more than for doing roleplaying, something that's going to be reflected in the programme.
Bring Your Own Programme Items
If anyone out there has any ideas that might make good programme items, or would just like to help out, please do contact us at the convention address (see sidebar). We can't possibly do all this on our own, and we would love to see what new ideas you come up with.
